FREE TO ATTEND
The program
Recovering Addict is a Christ-centered recovery community. The weekly rhythm is teaching, practical skills, relationships, and movement. The meetings do not charge a fee.
This is peer support and Christian encouragement. It is not detox, a clinic, or a replacement for professional care.
Four parts of the work
Christ-centered teaching
Jesus Christ is the center of this community. We open Scripture, talk about grace and forgiveness, and remind each other that a new start is his gift.
Practical recovery skills
Education for ordinary days: how to notice risk, make a simple plan, and take the next step. This is practical help, not a medical promise.
Peer relationships and accountability
People who show up with you. Honest conversation, encouragement, and someone to walk beside you through the week.
Physical wellbeing
Movement and healthier routines are part of the evening. We do not claim a specific medical result from exercise.
What the evening looks like
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:00–8:00 p.m. Workout starts at 6. We meet until 8. This is not a promise about medical results.

Who comes
People come carrying different struggles, including:

- Pornography and sexual compulsion
- Food and body struggles
- Anger, codependency, and patterns that keep taking over
If it is hurting your life, you are welcome to come and see if this community is a fit. We will not promise an outcome.

Christ-centered workbooks
The free meetings use the Recovering Addict 12-Step Workbook Series, written by Leonard Ted Weaver. The series includes:
- Drugs & Alcohol
- Sex & Porn
- Food Addiction
You can order the paperbacks yourself. This website does not sell them, and it does not take payment for them. The meetings stay free either way.
The workbooks are for study alongside the meetings. They are not medical care, detox, or a substitute for a doctor or counselor.
